Sauvignon Vert 2025

Sauvignon vert is an excellent wine from huge vines that grow at their best in the strong clay and flysch soils.

Delicate aromatics and a light-medium body with great roundness. Sauvignon vert is a very versatile wine, pairing well with a plethora of foods. Its gentle nature can show great promise as a summer hit.

Tasting notes

Sauvignon vert is the second trademark of the Brda region. It has elegance and finesse, with a focus on roundness and balance of taste.

The taste resembles almonds, peaches, grass, and a hint of tropical fruits.

It pairs well with fresh salads (like Greek salad) and blue fish and poultry.

Serving: Chilled and fresh around 10 - 12 C

Vineyard notes

The name of this vineyard is “Pod sala'', a north-west-facing hill slope.

The vines are around 35 years old. They are taller and wider in comparison to other vines. In our opinion, there are nice places to produce great grapes.

Production notes

Sauvignon vert is a very versatile vine. The year 2025 was a great harvest, with great weather over the whole growing season, and the grapes had time to develop the true character of the variety.
