Sauvignon Vert 2024

This is the king of middlehills!

Sauvignon vert is an excellent wine from huge vines that grow at their best in the strong clay and flysch soils.

Delicate aromatics and a light-medium body with a great roundness. Sauvignon vert is a very versatile wine, paris well with a plethora of food. Its gentle nature can show a great promise as a summer hit.

Tasting notes

Sauvignon vert is the second trademark of the Brda region. It has elegance and finesse, where the focus is on the roundness and balance of taste.

The taste resembles pistachio, peaches, grass, and a hint of tropical fruits.

It pairs well with fresh salads (like Greek salad) and blue fish and poultry.

Serving: Chilled and fresh around 10 - 12 C

Vineyard notes

The name of this vineyard is “Pod sala'', north-west facing hill slope.

The vines are around 35 years old. They are taller and wider in comparison to other vines. In our opinion, there are nice places to produce great grapes.

Production notes

Sauvignon vert is a very versatile vine. The vintage 2024 was an interesting one with balanced weather and low-medium yealds. The results in the form of wine are awesome and express the true character of the variety.
