Caberent Sauvignon 2023

Cabernet Sauvignon is the emperor of reds.
The vines are treated so well that they produce an epical wine.

Cabernet is a delicate yet strong variety. It is well managed with sustainable wine-making and provides nice grapes. The rounded body and rich fruity character are perfect for drinking in late winter evenings beside a fireplace.

Tasting notes

A classy Carb with a philosophy of minimal intervention. The wine was matured in oak barrels and the taste is like forest fruits, red and black currant, plums, chocolate, and vanilla with a hint of refined tannin. Do not hesitate to enhance your weekend parties with a sip of our Carb. It definitely will bring warmth and joy.

Game meat, pizzas, and stronger cheese.

Serving
15-18 C let it warm a bit in the glass.

Vineyard notes

The vineyards are just next to our cellar. Under the village Biljana in the middle of the Brda region. The slopes are facing the southwest getting great sun exposure. The hot and powerful sun in late August helps mature to the perfect ripeness.

Production notes

From vines of 30+ years, the production is stable and the calm growth of these middle-aged plants gives a great round taste. The vintage was nice and it was perfect with food.
